I would describe this as a warm and welcoming spot for weary moms and their kids. Unlike Starbucks, which seems to have a ton of people shouting into their cell phones, Nada is a gem: quiet enough to relax, but not so quiet that you feel uncomfortable with your child (or children).
The first time I went there, our son systematically peeled all the paper off of about 20 straws, and the owner just thought he was delightful!
This is my favorite spot in an area with Starbucks on every corner to go with our on son...it is a place where you can truly refresh your spirit.
I do hope that it becomes more popular with neighborhood moms...we certainly could use a spot where we can linger and recharge.

If you appreciate fine Japanese tea, this is the place to go. I also like the sleek decor, as it reminds me of my brief visit to Japan. When I last visited, they had sandwiches from the nearby Sweets and Savories restaurant.

nada is an exciting example of less=more. while I may normally be a selection-whore and tout the glory of 1000 tea choices, the pleasure of finding just the core options (and all of high quality) was cause for some immediate joy and confidence this was no joke "teahouse."
the free wifi is not a strong signal and the woman I spoke to about it said they are getting a new setup soon. btw- it was empty when I stopped in on a rainy day before noon, so it is still a neighborhood secret!

Their green teas are fabulous. Much better than those in other tea/coffee places in town. A nice place to relax in the afternoon.
