Was Carolina caramel's caramel cupcake bad? Certainly not. Was it good enough to warrant returning for the oversized and liberally frosted cupcake? Sadly, the here is another no. Though this small restaurant with a great concept seems to have so much potential, I think it falls short in the quality of its product. It wasn't particularly good or bad, it was, on the whole, just unremarkable. I won't be going back, but I'm not left feeling ripped off either. Their cake was, on the whole, simply unremarkable.

This place is wonderful!! I have been to Carolina Caramel a dozen times at least and I love it. It is so cozy and comfortable, it's hard to leave especially with the nice music playing. I have recommended to many friends and have gotten only positive feedback from them.
