This no-frills corner bar is the perfect lunchtime get-a-way. For under $10 you can get a home-made meal (Mary cooks everything herself, just like your mom made)and a cold bottle of beer (no tap beers). Plus, you can have some intellegent conversation with either sibling, and share some jokes. I love the roasted chicken with home-made mashed potatoes, the corned beef/cabbage/potatoe dinner, the "just-like-mom-made" tuna sandwich - a HUGE sandwich for just $4. There are no rowdy customers to spoil your lunch, so you can just pretend you are at your mom's house. The portions are really huge - You'll never go away hungry.

Check it out! This secret gem is located on the corner of Elston and George - but don't go too late. Mary, like your mom, only cooks so much, and if you are "late to dinner", you may find that all the food is gone. I always call first, and Frank saves my a plate.
