Eh, we ran into a bit of a "glitch" with the reservation and ended up waiting about an hour for the table, squeezing some bruchetta out of 'em. The food was decent and in large portions...I wouldn't eat the hype about the place though - 2.5 of 4 stars.

We recently moved to the Bucktown area and immediately felt drawn to this restaurant. When my family came from out of state to visit we thought it would be a nice place to take them. I walked through the front doors with an open heart and confident that we made a good decision. Unfortunately Club Lucky couldn't deliver on all the hype that they project. Their take on "traditional" Italian food lacks presentation, the drinks are hardly generous, and although the entrees lack quality dont expect it to reflect in their prices. We walked out feeling disappointed and cheated. In the future for comparable prices, better quality, and service I can count on, I'll travel the few extra miles to Rosebud's on Taylor Ave.

This establishment is the most racist place I have ever been in my life. I will never recommended nor encourage any person especially individuals of color to patronize this place that discriminate. I made plans to join five other friends based on the location but was totally disrepected by the owner/manager before they arrived. I guess the restroom is for white folks only!!! I hope that your experience is better than mine. I will in fact plan to spread the word to everyone to never attempt to eat at thisds place. Time to stand up and get rid of the bigotry in bucktown. Cheers

The food was slightly better than average, a shade below that of Maggianos. The service was fair to good. The noise level is high, making it an ideal place to bring young children.
Watch you bill, they tend to "accidentally" add extra items when there is a large party. Also, don't expect a free piece of cake for the birthday boy, regardless of the size of the bill. Felt nickel and dimed when the bill came.
For the money, I would go to Francesca's on Taylor instead.

Skip the veal balls. This place should be called Club Sucky!
