Have to second what Frank said about the enchillidas verdes...the sauce was incredible. I have never tasted one with this particular flavor. And the fire grilled chicken is a lovely flavor as well. I love Mexican food and this restaurant is becoming very addictive. We went there for dinner for the first time this past Saturday, got take out on Sunday and I am planning on going there tonight for dinner.

We live in the neighborhood and have been there a dozen. We bring friends and family all the time, as well. The food is always excellent.

Wow. The food was soooo good. I loved the way they make the salsa right in front of you. I order the enchillidas verdes...man, never had it better anywhere else. My favorite Mexican Restaraunt by far in Chicago. :)

This is a great new place. The service was wonderful and everyone was very attentive to any and all needs. We had the chicken fajitas and they were some of the best I've had! The chicken was very tender and marinated in the perfect sauce. Also, chips and salsa were as good as I have had in the city

Great tableside guac & salsa! Loved the shrimp—waiter-reccommended Chips are nice & thin & warm & non-greasy. Why acn't more places do their chips right! Will be back_probably tonight. BYOB a plus

Wow, this place rocks! We live in the neighborhood and could not wait for Fajita Grill to open. Upon arriving we were greeted by Angela (the owner)and given fresh salsa and chips. Our food was fantastic (enchiladas w/ mole) and the service was out standing. Angela makes you feel like family.
Bring your own tequila and ask Cathy to make you a margarita--I promise you won't be sorry.
We love this place and think it's a great addition to the neighborhood

This is my new favorite place! I've already been three times since it opened - have had the shrimp fajitas, chicken mole, and carne asada - all EXCELLENT and authentic. I've seen a couple of references to cost, but since it is BYOB, you'll more than make up for that with savings on alcohol. Take a bottle of tequila and they'll make you a tasty margarita. The homemade tortillas are amazing, the tableside salsa and guac can't be beat.

I second Matt! The fresh salsa was super delicious and the chicken enchiladas were the best I've had in Chicago. The chicken was marinated and tender and the sauce was superb. I too was a bit thrown off by the prices (around 12-14 per plate) because most mexican joints tend to offer dishes under 10, but when the food came (nice presentation, good rice and beans, nice green salad with jimaca) I understood why and was not at all disappointed. I hope they make it!

This place is amazing! It just opened up, and we were the only ones in there on a Monday night. Everything there is made on site. The salsa and/or guacamole is made while you watch, as a woman comes by and grinds it in a mortar and pestle to your specifications. The dishes were magnificent, try the enchiladas. A little pricey, but not too bad. The waiter was a little up front with trying to promote the place, but he'll learn! I recommend it!
