Malachy, i think you have personal grudge against colored people. There is nothing wrong with this motel. I go there everytime, maybe it's your place that is more dirty than the zoo. So stop hating.

I've been going to the Colony Motel for some time now and have no problem. The owners are very nice and the rooms are very clean. This is a motel I don't mind staying at because it is so clean.

The Colony is more than 5 minutes from Brookfield Zoo although the zoo is probably cleaner to stay at. Certainly the people who manage the zoo are far more pleasant than the lady you will encounter at reception in The Colony Motel. She should do a job that does not involve dealing with the public. The room smelled of urine mixed with stale tobacco. The bath was blocked, I could go on, but it troubles me to bring up the memory of this sticky carpeted hovel
