I've been going there for almost 10 years now. Food is still outstanding, and yes, I even still find myself waiting around. Those other southside restaurants don't hold a coal to this authentic restaurant. If you want REAL Jamaican food, come to Daddy O's Jerk Pit. It's the best!

Daddy O's is "some good food"! The other reviewer is correct, Daddy O is a "trip" to say the least. The food is REALLY good, and I love the beef patties! If you ever go in, and the restaurant is open, but you don't see Daddy O he may be next door talking :) Beside, Daddy O being funny, the food is REALLY good, well-seasoned, and affordable. My friends and I frequented the restaurant, several Sunday's after church!

daddy o's jerk pit is the best in chicago...tho be on guard cuz daddy o will cus you out if you don't order correctly or tell him what to do...its kind of like the jamacian version of the soup nazi episode of seinfeld. i usually end up laughin my ass off just for the fact that he will cus out anyone.
