I went yesterday, the service was amazing. The server we had was polite and very informative. Great value, cool place, we'll be back. I'm impressed.

I went there the other week, thought it was alright. Burger was good, better than most fast food burgers and about the right price, I felt. Fried pickles were good. Service was OK, though the counter help was kind of crummy. Good, not great, and room for improvement.

Just went to Uber Burger and give it a mixed review. They use an egg bun with cornmeal that stays moist and soft (nice). The angus burger is good but not seasoned and a little overcooked (not so nice). They were skimpy with the grilled onions and cheddar cheese (not nice at all). I got a double bacon cheeseburger. They gave me only one slice of cheese UNDER the patties and a smallish mound of grilled onions on top. The shame is that they charge for the cheese.
Also bordering on shameful is the service. There were two servers for eight tables and a counter, and they were constantly behind. I wasn't greeted for about ten minutes and it's a very small place. I think all they need is a runner/busperson and the floor will run much smoother.
And for the fries. They're hand cut (nice, kinda) but cooked only once so they get very soft five minutes later and you end up with a pile of mushy fried potatoes that taste faintly of burnt starch.
Therefore, in the town of Evanston, Weiner and Still Champ is still champ. Now they serve fries to write home about.

My wife and I have been meaning to try this place for quite a while, but it was a huge disappointment. First of all, the two people who take orders and serve customers were among the most unfriendly people I have ever met. They make almost no effort to take your order and are best at ignoring you and almost everyone else there. They create a cold and unfriendly atmosphere. Secondly, when we finally received our order and took it home, almost everything was wrong and believe me, it was not that sophisticated an order. Lastly, the quality of the burgers is okay, certainly not worth a return visit. I would return, however, to see if the staff there ever smiles.

Burgers way way overpriced. Didn't care for the corndusted bun. Fries were average. I did enjoy the soda though...nice and cold.

Hate it, my friends hate it and we will never go back. No wonder they sell the food for two dollars.

The food at this place was pretty good. The one-patty turkey burger I got had a decent flavor (was maybe a little under-spiced) and was a good size - bigger than Steak n Shake's, but smaller than a restaurant burger. My dining companion said the veggie burger was only all right. The variety of sauces they offer is a nice gimmick, but I wish they were a more distinct-tasting and less mild. The onion rings were outstanding, hot and crispy, and the fries were good. I'd go back.

Hamburger was dry and too small for the price they charged. I believe it was a 1/4 for $3.79. I waited almost 15 minutes for my burger, fries(too oily), and pepsi. Why the long wait?? Only 3 customers were in the place, and all they serve are burgers, and they couldn't even get that right. Overall, I spent 15 minutes and almost $8 dollars on a burger, fry, and pepsi(RIP OFF!). I would rather go to Al's, Wild Dogz, or Wiener and Still Champion for better food at half the price and time.

i walked into uber burger the other day seeing the 2$ burger special and said why not? however, i left with a much more satisfied feeling than i thought. the burgers, i had the beef, were very juicy and tasty and the sauce, i had the honey bbq and the amelias aioli, topped it off perfectly. you get way more fries than you pay for and i tried my friends fried pickles, which do sound weird but are very tasty. I also had a mint chip shake, and was almost put into a food coma after walking out of there. needless to say, im def going back; what a great new joint!
