After reading the great reviews on this place I decided I wanted to have my birthday party here. My husband called two weeks before my party to get all the info and prices and asked if the date we wanted was available. We were told that would be a perfect date. My husband called back a week before to make sure the date / time was still cool and with a better idea of the numbers of guests we would have. This time he was told that we had a drink minimum for the room on top of the hourly fee. We were not really happy about this but plans had already been put in motion so he let it go. He gave them our credit card number to hold the room. They were supposed to provide a birthday cake and decorations. SO how horrible was it when we showed up at this place and it dark and closed 10 min before my party is supposed to start! We stand out in the COLD for 45 minutes thinking someone will show up or call us and NOTHING!!! As our friends begin to show we realize this party is not going to happen here so we move the party to a bar and spend the next hour trying to text and call friends to let them know where we are. Not the way I imaged my party going.... Thanks for nothing Lincoln Karaoke. Lesson Learned...Just go to the Hidden Cove down the street if you want Karaoke. It's actually not that far a walk from Lincoln Karaoke....I know because I walked there the night of my birthday party, in the snow, in 3 inch heels because they could not bother to open.

Lincoln Karaoke has really bad management. They charge customers based on whim. Sometimes the rate for a karaoke room is $75 for 3 hours, the next time I go it's a $110 for the same time. It's pointless trying to reason with the owner/management they will not listen to you or provide you with an explanation for their varying charges. Easy places to get cheated blindly.

Wow! Absolutely unbelievable time, at a reasonable price. We had a birthday party here and got a free bottle of champagne, and also got free birthday shots! The owner is the best!

I must admit--I'm always skeptical when I see SOOOO many positive reviews about a place. But Lincoln Karaoke is AMAZING.
When you walk in you're going to think to yourself,"Those reviewers are crazy." Give it twenty minutes.
We stayed there last night until 4am and the owner was great. Everything that's said is true: He brings you snacks, he'll give you free drinks, and he genuinely wants to make sure that EVERYONE is having a great time.
I love this place. Just love it.

I can't say enough good things about this place! We went to Lincoln Karaoke for my birthday. Large song selection, cheap drinks, friendly staff. Dave the bartender was awesome, he gave me free shots the whole night and if you reserve the room ahead of time the owner will provide you with a huge personalized birthday cake for free!

I rented a room at Lincoln Karaoke for my birthday and we all had a blast! If you like karaoke and but don't want to do it in front of a bar full of strangers, this is the place for you. Don't let first appearances fool you - once you get started in your room, it's so much fun! We had about 20 people in their largest room and everyone loved it. The rates are reasonable ($25-35/hour) and they have some food and a bar. There is a good selection of English songs (enough to last us 5 hours) but you have to ignore the cheesy Asian videos. In our room, we had comfy couches, lights that came on with the music, and 4 microphones. This is definitely worth the trek! For a special occasion, the management even offered us a complementary cake (which was excellent) or champagne.

Celebrated a belated birthday at Lincoln Karaoke on 10/13/07. After a recent trip to Japan inspired such an evening. Asthetically we are talking fraternity house - there is nothing stylish about the decor. The owner who greeted us, with great welcome and warm smile and quickly led us to our private room. He explained the easy to use epuipment which was a matter of pushing song numbers and hitting start. The song selection had something for everyone. Moments after our arrival the owner arrived with a tray of korean treats that were perfect with the ice cold beer. Stella never tasted so good. A large and beautiful complimentary birthday cake was also presented. Fluffy frosting fruit topping beautifully decorated. Our gracious host continued to check with us throughout the course of the night. Our evening lasted three hours and we could have certainly stayed longer. We really had a lot of fun. The experience was great and we will return before long. My guests were in agreement. I highly suggest a night of fun at Lincoln Karaoke. Expect the bare bare basics - this is not a posh see and be seen club. Think of it as singing in an unfinished basement with a great host an incredible sound system and a guarenteed evening of fun.
