Copa is a great place if you are a self-absorbed person who is unable to get into a real club. Just throw on phony club attitude and, voila!

I dont understand any of these reviews because I have been going here for years and the place is the funnest spot I know of. It isnt like any of those crap shoots on Weed St or up on Rush & Division. The bartenders are nice if you treat them well. Dont expect a nice attitude if you dont talk to them. Saturday nights are hip hop nights and Friday nights are House.

The Copa is horrible. I've never seen such obnoxious staff or patrons. If someone buys it and turns it back into Bluebird I promise to visit four times a week.

The best part about the copa is the d.j. that plays there on Wednesdays...thats what will keep you coming back and thats what makes the copa different...not only does he turn dope beats but he is hot! Rick Fabris is definitely up and coming..he just needs to be discovered.

Copa is yet another house music-playing, fancy drink, generic lounge that is infecting Chicago. The place is way too small and the staff and clientele are far too pretentious. Copa is an insult to the great Bluebird, which used to occupy the space.

I love copa. It is a fun place that you can dance and sit down to enjoy a drink. The music is great and the drinks are resaonable. They know how to have a good time.

This place tries to come across as an ultra-hip lounge/club, but it just doesn't work. The patrons wear either tight T-shirts or the standard issue vertical stripe or shiny shirt club wear, and the women don't look much better, either. The attitudes they throw around are grossly out of proportion to what they have to offer.
NOTICE: This is NOT the OFFICIAL The Copa website. These reviews are a forum for opinions about the venue that other Centerstage Chicago users may want to know, not to order merchandise, apply for a job, etc.
