The food not bad, but nothing special. It was for sure overpriced. Waitress rude, a lot of weird people at the bar increases the desire to eat fast and leave to never come back again.

Horrible...everything! The piano player, the server, the food (honestly, it was some of the worst that I remember) and the bill was outragous! The infused vodkas were the only redeeming quality about this place. Save your money and go somewhere with a real ambiance and great food like Jacks on Halstead. Cornelia's was overall a huge disapointment and I will be sure not to ever return.

I called the restaurant hoping to book a group reservation when I was hung up on. Assuming it was an accident, I called back and before I could say anything, the lady told me to F*** Off. I don't expect that kind of behavior from adults but especially not from adults in charge of answering the phone at a restaurant. My recommendation: avoid Cornelia's like the plague. You'll sleep better.

Okay, so it was pride weekend, but... I spent more 2 hours at Cornelia's with a friend and never ended up having dinner. We waited 45 minutes for a table, but were happy to wait at the bar (and pay too much for drinks). We were seated outside and ordered more drinks, an appetizer, and dinner. When another 45 minutes passed and our calamari hadn't arrived we were suspicious. We continued to wait for dinner, but at the 75 minute mark we got up and let the host know that we were going to go to Firefly to get some dinner. It was right about then that our server took the microphone from the cabaret singer and started belting out a showtune. Bizarre.

A friend and I decided to stop in for some appetizers and were VERY pleasently surprised by the great food, great service, and ESPECIALLY by the great martini's made with the house steeped fruit or veggie vodkas! We recommend Cornelia's for a nice evening out.
