I have had the privilege to hear Ed play live and believe me it is ELECTRIFYING!! He is a great showman apart from being a tremendous sax player. He approaches every solo with such a "free" view. His tone quality is edgy and fresh. His compositions always expose a sort of "zen" of music. He is truly one of the greatest ever.

Ed Petersen's sax playing is tremendous. He's one of the best on the planet, but really an unsung sax heroe. Let's hear from those of you who have been blessed to hear Ed play. Peace. Long live heavy, life enriching jazz.
