This is one of my hangouts in Wicker Park! It seems that coffeeshops in this area have closed down. This kinda reminds me of Filter but smaller. They had issues with the internet but it's back up and running. I'm excited to see Bleeding Heart Treats and of course, my favorite, Metropolis Coffee! I definately recommend this place if you are looking for a rockin hangout.

blah food but cute hipster girls behind counter. too expensive and looked like i walked into a crate & barrel or pier one store. the metropolis coffee was good though. bottom line: much better places to spend four bucks on a drink.

an iced latte is not that hard to make but mine was luke warm and watered down. i couldn't drink it. the decor was nice but lacked a personality and seemed very generic. in other words its pleasant but certainly wouldn't go out of my way (located by the highway which is nice because i drive to ohare everyday). if a grade could be given i rate it a c-

It was a fun weekend in Chicago and at BB. I live the area and visit this place often. The jasmine tea was awesome and my kid had fun yesterday with the baloons and face painting. Great latte as always.

I visited this place several times and NEVER had any complains. I found the food to be fresh, tasty and healthy. The music is of great variety to fit most of the guest's tastes. But if you do not like it you can always make a suggestion to the owners who are very responsive. The interior was recently redone and I think that it looks and feels much better and more comfortable. I encourage you to set foot in this great little place and while you are there try their freshly squeezed carrot juice, fruit salad or sandwiches. You will agree that it was worth the trip!

Great place to get coffee and food. Everyone is friendly. Every time I come in they know what I want and have it ready. This is a wonderful establishment!

It's a pretty cozy place. The food is good, and I like the coffee a lot. Good location, close to the highway, and not too far from downtown. The owners are cool too ;)

...I can not believe these last few reviews. I really like this place. The food is delicious, fresh. They have variety of baked goods, even a fresh squeezed carrot juice every morning. The coffee is very good and I never had a problem with macchiato which I drink iced. Maybe it depends on the experience of the barista. It is not on the menu, it needs to be. New owners are very nice. They are remodeling the cafe and working on the menu, website and new music (as they say). The music is very good, variety of all kinds, all languages, all venues--all-around wold music. Last Saturday I was there and yes they had little bit more up beat music, but it was Saturday evening, who wants to listen to mellow music before going out!!! When I used to come here, last year the baristas were listening to stand up comedy in the mornings and music was always loud something between rock and screaming. I like that change. In my opinion music taste is vary personal and you can not satisfy everybody
