Wow...Great BBQ. I was excited to try Willie's offerings after watching his TV debut. I was not disappointed. The pork was the best I've experienced and the brisket gives many Texas restaurants. something to strive for. Remember to BYOB for teh full experience.

DO NOT EAT HERE!! This place sucks!! I want my money back! They don't use spices or salt in their ribs - it was the worst experience ever eating here! Sauce taste like ketchup, cornbread doesn't taske like corn, coleslaw is dry, and the ribs were dry and flavorless. Do not believe the good reviews from the owners themselves, this place sucks! Don't waste your money, you're better off going to Chili's for ribs - at least they have some flavor! Honkey Not! shame on you!!

I was really excited to try this place after seeing the review on Check Please. WOW... what a let down. Service was bad and the food was bad. Not to forget to mention that the sweet tea was not authentic. Sweet tea is suppose to be sweet not watered down. Oh... my corn bread was burnt. Who does that?

Save you money and patients and to to Portillo's or even Apple Bee's, they have better food there.

    Four words...bring a big napkin

If you want the best bbq this side of memphis, you found it at Honky Tonk. It's A-B-C-Delicious

If there is better BBQ in Chicago I don,t want to know about it. I am finally satisfied in my search for real BBQ in America. I have been accross the USA and found the BEST right here. The Wagners have a real passion for what they do. If they can keep the level of quality constant they have a customer for life.

They were incredible ... EVERYTHING was incredible. We were given two sauces ... one hot and one sweet ... well we loved them both but we almost finished the whole thing of the hot one (sorry). We didn't have room for desert, but we will sure try it next time. I rather stop here or this is going to go on and on. All I can say, YOU HAVE TO TRY IT!!! We WILL be back. Ohhh one side note ... right now it's cash only .. so make sure to bring some and if you forget there is an ATM in the corner. (FIN)

Since it was our first time here we opted for the sampler (half ribs, half chicken, sausage link, pork sandwich, brisket sandwich, corn bread and cole slaw ... ohhhhh and how can I forget the baked beans ...yumm!)... we also ordered the portobello mushrooms in olive oil and garlic and the mac and cheese for my daughter. Well ... it did not disappoint. We just could not stop talking about how good everything was ... my daughter (the pickiest eater on earth) LOVED the chicken. It was nice and moist and the skin was nicely seasoned (you could tell it was smoked since all the fat was drained). The ribs were given to you Memphis-style (ribs are rubbed and sauce is served on the side).

AMAZING ... AMAZING ... AMAZING!!! We passed by it one day and since both my husband and I are barbecue aficionados we decided to give it a try. We are always in search of some good old fashion barbecue and we think we have found it. (too long .. will finish in the next)

I read the previous reviews of this restaurant and decided to try. I must say, I was very disappointed. I ordered the baby back ribs which turned out to be very dry! This si the 3rd bbq restaurant I've tried in the last 2 weeks and yet again, I end up very unsatisfied once again. I just need to fire up my own grill i guess.

What a great place to have in Pilsen! It is just like going to your best friend's house for dinner only there is live music on Friday and Saturday. The food is obviously lovingly prepared. The service is friendly and the atmosphere is down-home! My friends and I had a great time! And, I just found out they delivery so now I can have a home-cooked meal at home!!
