Very Dissapointing. Went on New Year's Day. The atmosphere was good, but when it came down to service, bad. My girlfriend ordered the crabcakes meal (which our waiter had no idea where the crab meals were at, called another server over), and she asked for a salad instead of the offered fries/baked potato. Could not do, even when she said it was ok to upcharge. Not five minutes later another couple had a side salad brought to them. I would love to say my alfredo sauce was good/bad, but can't since it was devoid of ANY taste. The finale was as were walking out they posted all-you-can eat crab legs for a pretty good price. Never mentioned by our waiter. For a place that looked like it would be an upscale Joe's Crabshack, it really missed the mark.

WOW, what a great overnight change at Cy's Crabhouse on Ashland. My family and I live in the neighborhood and we used to dine in here occasionally. The food and service were ok. But now with the new overnight change, I love the new sports bar with many different types of beers, tons of flat screen tv's. The food and service must have changed as well, because I was just amazed. I'll be there more often now probably every other day or so, watching games, drinking beers, and the tasting the great food.

BEWARE. This restaurant has serious health hazards associated with sewage back-up in their basement. They pump this raw sewage through a rubber hose in their kitchen into the alley storm drain. STAY AWAY UNLESS YOUR BODY CAN WITHSTAND THE EFFECTS OF E.COLI BACTERIA.

WARNING- This place charges a hefty mandatory gratuity on parties of 5, even if one is a child. This place was a good value years ago, but we never plan to return.

It was Saint Patrick’s Day, a Saturday afternoon around 1300 or so. We drove into the parking lot of CY’s Crab House in Wheeling IL to find one car, 2003 silver BMW, we were the only customers in the restaurant and the BMW belonged to the host. The wood work was magnificent; the tables were beautifully designed with sea shells and star fish embedded in Plexiglas. The lighting was far to dark. There was a Mexican bus boy with a speech impediment asking how we were doing, until my daughter told him we’re fine. When I ordered a class of Guinness Stout, the host brought me the glass of beer with about two inches of foam, there should be a law against poor TAB skills. The food looked good, but taste bland. After we left my daughter complained of stomach aches as we drove to Highland Park for smoothies at Jamba Juice.
