This place is a little scary and a lot less attractive than your usual Chicago hot dog stand, BUT....for a real treat, try the gyro sandwich with RED SAUCE! The countermen are pleasant and helpful to boot! Sitting in the back can be an adventure depending on the clientele present, but everyone seems to mind their own business (drinking heartily)and leave the diners to enjoy their meal. Unless the TV is blaring, it is very quiet given it's location just steps from a busy commercial intersection. (The guys at the counter will turn down the TV unless there is a big deal sports venue being broadcast....) Again, don't miss the GYRO with RED SAUCE (served moderately spicy).
