Unfortunately, a room which could easily be one of the finer music listening rooms in Chicago, seems to currently be turning into just another noisy bar for kids. My girlfriends have been to just about every fine music venue in Chicago for decades, and were delighted to find 3160. It's a classy, romantic spot that books some exceptional musicians (legendary Judy Roberts and newcomer Paul Marino) but seems to want to attract the rowdy twentysomethings by blasting dance music when the musicians are on break. A classy room that desperately needs to decide what it wants to be, as it has no identity and doesn't seem to be run well. We've brought in groups of friends on Wednesday nights and have enjoyed ourselves immensely in spite of the often rude and vulgar clientele that dwells at the lower bar. The owners of 3160 should take heed now, as Chicago is in desperate need of a classy music room, and 3160 has what it takes.

Rudy de La Mor is at 3160! What a scoop! The talent, the "gay"-ity of this entertainer will keep you coming back night after night during his Chicago visit! Don't miss this opportunity to see him!

Tried it out myself and it seemed like a refreshing change ! Entertainers are diverse and talented. With no cover, you can't go wrong! (What ever happend to the bartender -DAN- he's a great guy !

This bar is off the chain! Irene mixes a great whiskey sour, but hates to make them. Be sure to ask about the jumbo tequilla shots!
