From the owner of "Lao Sichuan," where service is equally slow and unfriendly, comes "Lao Beijing." After ordering and much following-up with the waitstaff, our various (average tasting) dishes came out in 15 minute increments. Perhaps service was better for channel 7's food critic, but for our table, this restaurant fell far below expectations.

I am from the northeast of China and I think the food in Lao beijing is really bad. The service is also bad. We made a reservation for 6 people but when we arrived there, they said we have to wait. I don't really know what reservation means in lao beijing. I think the owner is good at advertising, but not the food or the service.

lao beijing is seemingly completing the decoration.. great northeastern chinese food will be brought out
