My partner and I ate at Cafe Marbella last week. The whole experience was exceptional. The food (we ordered 8 different hot tapas) was extremely well prepared. The service was well paced. Each tapas was bought out with clean small plates and cleared before the next one came. The ambience was good except for the loud music initially. It was turned down half way through our meal.

Cafe Marbella is a neighborhood gem. The owner Enrique is passionate about the restaurant and the food. Everything we tasted, 3 tapas and the paella Valenciana, were very tasty. The tab was less than$40. Great way to eat, sharing different dishes. This place is wonderful.

Tapas dominates the menu with a wide selection of cold and hot choices. Freshness is evident in every offering. There are also plenty of choices of full-sized entrees (readily suitable for sharing). The seafood is particularly fresh and demonstrates attention to presentation as well as preparation. Tapas prices average $5-8 with entrees from $12 to $18. One of the best values around particularly for those who bring their own wine. A welcome new addition for well-prepared Spanish cuisine.
