The waitress, a lady in her 50s, is very rude. The food was OK. The rude waitress has ensured that we will not go back to this diner.

She warned me that the turkey was carved from the bone & not lunch meat. That was fine. What I got for $8.00 was a turkey sandwich that was basically shavings from the bone...I mean, like leftovers from Thanksgiving. I could have spent my $8.00 bucks someplace else.

My boyfriend and I were just at the diner today. The food was ok the service was ok. The womans bathroom was clean but it smelled pretty bad. The prices were very high for average food. I've been to way better diners before that were a lot cheaper. Standees is right down the street and it's ten times better.

I come here usually after a night of drinking at the bars, and it's nice to go to then. If I'm not drunk, then it's just a nice corner diner to hang out with a cup of coffee and paper. The food is never very good (especially the biscuits and gravy . . . some of the worst I've ever had!) but it's usually not terrible either. The pork sandwich is really good, and so is the reuben. Service is so-so, but at 4 in the morning when there's nobody there it's pretty good!

Awful. That is the best word that I can use to describe this place. I wind up coming here now and then because it is one of the few late night food spots that isnt McDonalds. In the five or six times I have been here in the last two years, service has always been extremely slow and inattentive, food poorly cooked, and the restaurant is filthy. Last time I was there I had to move tables because of a swarm of fruit flies....

I live a couple blocks North. When I first moved in, I practically depended on this place for dinner. I still go, but not as often. The food is nearly always good diner food. The service is nearly always awful. There have been a couple exceptions with the service, and those exceptions have been great. It's just rare.

I also visit this place at night when I am on the North side visiting friend. The place is fairly clean, but the bathrooms dont match the outside. I was told by the manager that the owner is working on upgrading. The food is great and the soups are to die for. Especially the mushroom and spinach soups. I have never seen any rats or pests while visiting the place. I also hear that the place is pretty crowded on the weekends for breakfast. I give thumps up for this place.
