Although I wasn't impressed with the reviews I had read a few months ago when I looked it up, I went there today because it was convenient and my whole family was hungry. I was pleasantly surprised by the decor and the menu, and decided on a lunch special of French onion soup and quiche lorraine. My wife got the tomato basil soup and a bleu cheese burger (we both ate half of each other's meal). The food was outstanding, and the service was excellent. I was worried that they would serve me the ubiquitous flacid sauteed onions in canned beef stock so many kitchens serve around here, and the waiter brought out the executive chef to assuage my concerns. He brought me a small sample before I actually ordered it, and it was perfect- rich broth with nicely carmelized onions. This guy knew what he was doing. On top of that, despite being incredibly busy, he took the time to chat with us and was quite gracious about being called out of his kitchen- he obviously knows how to deal with customers as well as how to cook. I look forward to returning.
