Just a delight! The coffee served on a tray with real cream and a sparkling glass of water was a welcome sight when we stumbled in on a Sunday afternoon. I enjoyed delicious baked eggs with salmon. But had a hard time choosing from the tasty-sounding entrees. The room was light and airy and spacious. Discovered the place was owned by the Abt family through an offhand conversation in the rest room. What a suprise! We purchased all of our appliances from Abt back in the old neighborhood. Oh, don't forget the luscious pastries--we took some home--too full after lunch.

Just a little bit of Austria, right on Milwaukee Avenue in Glenview! Their wines are outstanding, the food is very good (loved that goulash--couldn't get it better in Austria). I wish though, that they had a more extensive Austrian menu (though the pastries alone are well worth the trip). Service was friendly and efficient!
