I visited Angels and Mariachis last night with 5 friends. I read some poor reviews from other websites as well as the one on here. I was impressed with A&M. The food was delicious, we all got something different to taste a bunch of their dishes, all of it was excellent. The drinks are reasonable for Wicker Park (about $5 each) and strong enough, a pitcher of margaritas is $20 and fills 4 glasses. Our server was very nice and knowledgable about the menu. Our drinks took a little while to arrive but it was a Saturday evening and I think I was the only one to notice. We have been looking for a good Tex-Mex restaurant and I think we've found it. It is very easy to get to via the blue line or division bus. Give Angels and Mariachis a chance, you won't be sorry.

Very disappointed with the quality of service and atmosphere here. It took roughly five minutes to get the bartender's attention when there were only 5 other people in the bar. Music is loud, patrons were breaking beer bottles by 830pm and staff courtesy is nonexistent. Keep this kind of low-grade entertainment out of Wicker Park.
