visited amelia's last night with a friend. we each ordered one of the specials (rib eye and scallops) which were absolutely amazing. and the cinnamon coffee and dessert list are a great way to finish off the whole dining experience. delicious food and great service. this is a special treat to have in back-of-the-yards. i highly recommend it!

people people people!!!! if you are tired of the same 'ol worn out mexican fare, this place is an absolute must! the chef left from el mundo and brought his great recipes with him. check out the chile relleno or the saffron rissoto crusted chillean sea bass. mouth watering and phenomenal!!! please support this gem of a venue. it is BYOB as they await their license, but personally, i love that budget option. there is grocery store directly across from the restaurant with all the liquor you need.

My husband and I love this place. I get Amelia's enchiladas with the wonderful green tomatilla sauce! My husband gets the burrito frito [fried burrito or chimichanga]. I wish the hours of operation were more predictable, we went on a thursday at 1:00pm and they were closed even though the posted hours are 10-4 M-F. They host parties on the weekend according to the person there we spoke with. The neighborhood is really picking up with Bake for Me a block a way and a Dunkin Donuts plaza coming soon just south of Amelia's. I really hope they expand their hours or at least can always be open for weekday lunch as promised.
