I was gonna go to this new club, but when I heard they were promoting that MURDERER, D. Peterson, I just knew that whoever owns it was scum of the earth too, I would NEVER go to the Stardust...I would suggest No One Ever goes there.. I heard rumors too that are NOT favoraable for the owner..

I went to stardust a few weeks ago and had a great time. Lots of good looking people, i wouldnt say the staff went out of their way but were very nice and professional. I will definitely go back

We almost didn't go here because of all of the bad reviews. But, it dawned on us. Who goes to a place, has a great time and then goes home to write about it?? Only bitter, negative people would go home and take the time to write a negative review. We went on Saturday night, January 24th. Everybody had a great time. The VIP room was open and had an awesome DJ. Not sure why "contractor" would say that it was unfinished?? The main room was cool and had its own DJ. The VIP room had a very downtown Chicago feel. The clientele was not cheesy but well dressed, behaved and having a good time. I would reccomend this place and also encourage others to come back to here and leave a positive review. I would hate to see this place go away because we are lucky to have a club of this caliber in the suburbs.

I think this club would of ended up being a hot spot if the owner wasn't a con artist and compulsive liar. He screwed over alot of contractors who worked for him which in return gave him an unfinished club. Pay attention to the details which are non existant. So stop blaming other bars and clubs for your bad reviews! Oh....Awesome VIP room, the unfinished benches are high class. I feel sorry for his investors that are going to lose on this one.

Stardust is not closing. The "for lease" sign was planted by North Beach scumbags. They are jealous because the club is starting to take off. North Beach was just cited by the Downers Grove liquor commission for employing an underage server. North Beach will be shut down for 3 days and were fined $6000 in penalties and fees

Well. Whatever the reviews are they really don't matter anymore. Stardust is CLOSING!!!!!!! There is a FOR LEASE sign outside of the place.

I have read the "reviews" by some of these other people and they are WAY off. I know the owner and all I can say is that there are jealous people out there. This is such an awesome club. Reggie is there every night and really goes out of his way to be a gentleman and a gracious host. There were a few kinks early on, but they have been worked out. Bring a big group of your friends and have a good time. This is such a unique place for the suburbs. We should be lucky that Stardust exists in the Western 'burbs. I HIGHLY recommend it and encourage you to check it out yourself. The drinks are NOT over priced and the staff is friendly and not creepy. Reading some of these "reviews" makes me wonder if some of the authors are either jealous or cheesy.

do not go here. let me save you the trouble, it is gross, the staff is rude. Drinks are weak, and brought to you slowly. I was groped by a bouncer. Any reviews written with a postive tone are clearly written by stardust staff because the same reviews are posted on just about every site. Dont go here, its a joke, so cheesey. They try to make you think its such a big deal, and its such a let down. Even the gogo dancers are beat lookin.

Went there on a friday night. Awful. The staff really needs to learn some customer service. There rude approach starts with the door and continues on to the bar staff. This place tries too hard, this isn't L.A. its Downers Grove. Was supposed to be opened until 2 am and closed at 1 am. I understand going to a dive and being treated like crap but when I bring a group with me, pay cover and buy a lot of drinks at a place like this I would like to be treated like a paying customer. Thats probably why there's a grand total of 40 people at a place that is supposed to hold 800.
