Lack of customers creates a very intimate environment. Some of the orders result in getting the food you ordered. Substitutions for missing dishes are made by cook w-out consulting a customer. Included in service is wiping of the table in preparation for the next customer while you are still sitting there.

Wow! The cholent is GREAT! I wish that I could leave work earlier on Friday before they close so that I could take and order home for Shabbos. I try always to stop in on Thursday night for a big plate. The 9 days is coming up, so no Cholent for two weeks.

the food is delicious and fresh it has a pleasant atmosphere and very clean there isn't a fleishig kosher restaurant of this type with such a wonderful variety both for a meal and for take out as well in all of chicago....very worthwhile

Great food and nice relaxing atmosphere. I also really enjoy their takeout deli section. Perfect to grab a quick bite on the go or to heat up later for lunch or dinnner.
