Sortie is my new favorite restaurant in Chicago! My wife and I first visited a few weeks ago for my birthday, and went back 3 more times already! Each time we've been to Sortie, the executive chef, Mehmet, came out of the kitchen to visit with all the diners.
Their authentic Turkish cuisine is fresh and fantastic, especially the lentil soup, sigara borek, lahmacun, kisir, Iskander kebab, and beef sis kabob. Their prices are also very reasonable ($11-$23 for entrees), and the staff is incredibly friendly.
I also recommend their new Sunday brunch. It's only $20 per person, and includes a good variety of traditional Turkish breakfast foods and American favorites.
There's no street parking near the restaurant, but there is a parking garage across the street (Sortie can validate your ticket for a $2 discount).

Sortie is a great place to be. The food is outstanding and very fresh. I went to Sortie on thursday night with a group of friends we were greeted at the door and seated right away. We ordered a mixture of some american and turkish classics. The food was so tasty. Sortie has become my favorite spot, and Sunday we returned for brunch. Let me tell yo I have not tasted anything that good in a long time. The have turkish omelets, good variety of cheeses, pancackes. Amazing place!!!

This restaurant is a great place to eat. The food was fantastic and we will surely return there to eat again. The staff was very attentive and always available to ask questions or get what we needed. The water glasses were refilled constantly which is good because I drink a lot of water. The first glass of wine that I was given had a bitter taste but the staff was very quick to fix that issue and the next glass was great!! Definitely a place we will return to when visiting Chicago!

Great place to get together with your friends. Safe for ladies... Fills in the spot that has been missing in Chicago! Privacy, delicious food, good music and lounge experience.
