The museum is half empty, just rooms. A lot of money to pay for an empty museum. Where is Dreihaus's art collection?

The museum is incredible and truly is a hidden gem in the middle of River North. I highly recommend taking a tour of the Driehaus if you are interested in art and architecture! You are in for a wonderful surprise!

I took a tour in Fall 2008 and was completely blown away! The Museum is absolutely beautiful and the original craftsmanship is stunning (it's hard to believe how detailed the woodwork is).
I felt like I spent an afternoon studying abroad in Europe again - it took me a moment to gather my bearings when we walked back outside into River North!

The museum is amazing! You really can't imagine how opulent it is until you see it. Very worthwhile, esp. if you're interested in Chicago history.
