I would not recommend going on a day when kids are not in school. We got there right when it opened at 10 am, and already there were 15 minute wait times to buy the wristbands. There was no a la carte ticket pricing. If you wanted to skate, you had to buy an $18 wristband. By lunch time the place was heaving. At least a one hour waits for everything. We left at that point. Waiting in line all day was not my kids' idea of a good time.

My children and I recently went to Navy Pier and my son thought the festival looked fun. I purchased 3 wristbands for me and my kids, and then we went it. To be honest, it was awful. There was so mch noise and the staff were just lurching around, not paying any attention. I probably wouldn't reccomend this to anyone.

We just went to the Winter Wonderfest and were shocked at how the employees were speaking to the children. They were barking orders rudely, were not courteous or pleasant and were busier talking between themselves than ensuring safety. One employee even grabbed my daughters arm and pulled her out of the way instead of talking to her. It ruined our visit and experience. The people hiring should not go for cheap labor, but hire people with great personalities suitable to dealing with children/families all day and who can add to the overall family experience instead of detracting from it.
