a confused ownership who hire inept people because they are cheaper. The music suffers, they hire inept cheap sound people who can't run the gear. The people that "run" entertainment are amateurs who think corn hole is the olympics. Bands are screwed unless you can do some Neil Diamond and all 80's covers. Hairbanger's Wig band plays every other week. Yuk. They boast national acts but who wants to see one of the back street boys? Yes the "security" is a pack of hyenas left to their own laws, they are cheap too. They rob anyone regularly. Be careful. Lot's of phony "authority" from the staff. It just might be the bus boy causing trouble but your girlfriend will get smashed in the process of "security". The restaurant has a great chef, but you could never tell because of the confusion getting it out to you from the kitchen. NO MILLER. That says enough. Budweiser China impostor. Cheap and phony. 3rd rate cover band headquarters. Lousy service, phony "authority" from the hostess right through management, wait people to the entertainment buying and sound people. Expensive beer. Expensive food. They have never gotten it right. NO LOCAL CUSTOMERS. The town people don't even go there anymore. It's like a west Irish mcdonalds or portillo's run by skinheads and aliens. Needs new management.

I'm not sure how many of you are stuck in the 80's and enjoy listening to the same type of music week after week, GET OVER IT. The only thing the bar is good for is being open to 4:00 in the morning. The music there sucks week after week. Now I know there are those who object my comments, and for that - Blow Me!!!

We've had excellent service at Durty Nellie's - the bartender staff is quick and efficient- especially when it was crowded. They have the largest selection of beer to choose from. Clean bathrooms, and great menu. Great cozy neighborhood Irish pub and huge band room with upstairs Loft.

Last night this place was a cow pasture, one of the girls I was with got knocked over by a big guy and he didn't even acknowledge it or apologize, another guy walked just about right through her and kind of howled at his buddy like he was saying, aren't I cool, he didn't apologize either. They tell you the act starts at 10 but then you wait until 11:20 to hear the main act, I know Sixteen Candles brings a crowd and they are great but the Nellie's staff should have stopped letting people in after a certain point.

Get there for dinner early and ask for seating upstairs (it over looks the music room) and enjoy dinner and drinks while watching a good band without paying the cover. You won't have to deal with standing the whole time on a crowded dance floor either!

Nellie's is one fine venue to see live music...It has a huge band room that gives you that real concert venue feel...I love it...

Great pub and music room . Awsome beer selection. PLus plenty of good looking women ot boot , Illbe back.

Great place, but some of the bartenders suck. Like our least favorite: Frat-Fuck-Larry.
