This place has the WORST service. I have never been there and was going off of a reccomendation of a friend (who also warned the service was sub-par, but food was good). I called and left a message on their answering machine during business hours on a Tuesday to place an order for Wednesday, but never received a callback. I called that Wednesday morning and a young woman answered the phone. She was rude and nonchalant with giving me pricing information. I wanted to feed up to 5 people with turkey tips. It was $60 for a half pan of rib tips that would feed up to 10 people. For those who do not eat rib tips, this is an astronomical price! In addition, their policies are so whack. I would have to place the order at least one day prior (duh people I did), and put down a deposit. "You had to place it yesterday. We can't do that order for you." Did I ask for catering service or just a bucket of tips?! I don't know what type of clientel you normally have, but this is WAY out of the norm. You play into the stereotype of poor service at black owned businesses! I'd love to support, but why should I when my hard-earned dollar is not respected??? You're are ruining the work ethic of those you employ, either by not training them or perpetuating an unprofessional enviornment by your example. Word of mouth can grow your business or destroy it. You never know who your potential customer may be...

I ordered the turkey rib tips, my man ordered the turkey leg. Both food items were tinder and tasty! The fried corn a little less butter please! More sauce on my tips. Overall, as first timers we will surely come back.

I have not eaten pork since '96 and have not eaten beef since '04. Therefore, when I heard about this restaurant, I couldn't wait to try it. My husband and I ordered the tip and link combo. When we got home, only one of our orders was in the bag. Quite naturally, we were upset that we had to drive back. The owners were very friendly. They were out of tips, but were very apologetic, offering us anything else on the menu or our money back. The turkey links are the same ones that I buy from Moo & Oink, but I was so impressed by the tips that I went back the next day for a large! The ribs were dry and appeared to be fried. I wouldn't recommend those. The first time we waited 20 min. The second time I waited about 2 min. If they are busy, they will not answer the phone or take call ins in an effort to get the customers that are in out. I look forward to going back!
