I went to Swagger on Thursday, May 14th. I arrived around 11, expecting that the club would close around 3 which i was told. Anyways, we were charged 10 dollars at the door, and did not have to buy any tickets. The club has two floors, both floors with a bar, but the DJ's booth is located on the second floor. I loved the green and red light effects they had- i just think that i could have had a different feel if the lights changed more colors, but i loved the over all idea. There were not a lot of people, which is typical for a Thursday, but at the same time, the DJ was open to play any request that anyone had, which was great. One of the bartenders came from behind the bar, and asked my crew if we needed anything to drink. I acutally didnt get a drink there because the drinks were ranging from 8 dollars and up. Though few in number, everyone seemed nice and polite. The bathroom was clean when i used it, and there was plenty of tissue. lol. Even though its located "in the hood" i still liked it. This place is fairly new, and still need some minor adjustments like all new places do, but i think over all if your looking for a R & B club, this is it. Its more relaxed than the downtown atmosphere and ample parking.

This place is so ghetto its sick! The bathrooms are dirty, the arent even a real bar you have to buy tickets from some random chic to buy a nasty drink that they pour from a 2 liter bottle of coke or sprite they run out of everything, there was a shooting there and someone went to the hospital, the lighting decor was so ugly with green and red it made me ill. the DJ SUCKED. It smelled like throw up and weed. the managers were unhelpful and kinda bitchy when i informed them that there was no toilet paper in the bathroom. I mean its in the hood... if your going to be a hood club dont advertise that you a classy lounge which you arent. and try and charge 10 to 20 to get in? Give me a break. there was enough gold teeth and boots and fur to scare somebody. And the bartender chic that says she was a manager as well didnt even know Beefeaters was a gin and not a vodka, then tried to overcharge me for it. aFTER i WAS TOLD TO BUY A TICKET. save your life and your money!!! Stay away!
