This course is MICKEY MOUSE!
If you're a novice, go for it.
Otherwise, there are a plethora...a virtual cornucopia, of nicer, less expensive courses in the area.

I was in Schaumburg last week for a few days and I checked out this course based on these reviews. I have to say that it lived up to the compliments listed here in every way. The White Sox fans in the pro shop welcomed me with support for my Brewers. The starter was very pleasant and helpful (not something Im used to with starters). The course was in great shape and the people I encounted out there were wonderful. Everything about this place was comparable to the best courses in the Madison area.

Not since Watergate have I been so honest about a review of a course. This course is not a thief, it will reward you with plentiful birdies. The pleasant staff was wonderful and honest... great rates, super conditions... just a fun day at a nice course.

What an adventure... terrific golf course. Great conditions, great staff... enjoy this course everytime we venture out on safari...

This course is out of this world, what a great course. Have never been treated better by a staff and the conditions are like a private course. Hidden jewel in Chicago.

Tears in my eyes as I write this review. What a course, wow! If you are a player and want to be treated like a real golfer, this is the course for you... call Ty Webb, Judge Smells, bring your friends, alert the press... Schaumburg Golf Club is top notch, top notch...

Played Schaumburg Golf Club on Monday 06/25/07... not sure what the guy below a couple reviews is talking about... the course was in great shape, staff is great, did not event see a goose on the course let alone goose droppings... the cart fleet is brand new and they are electric carts... wow, electric carts at public track... Mr. Rob must have SGC confused with Fox Run or Poplar Creek... those places are more in line with his description below...

I played behind the group on 5/28/07... they sucked, they were very slow. I was in the golf shop when the guy complained, staff treated him with total respect... which he did not treat the staff with resepct at all... he was a jerk and should not be playing golf...

Five hour rounds, horrible staff, slow greens, goose droppings EVERYWHERE, surly rangers, bad hot dogs, faulty golf carts and a director of golf who doesn't keep his word.

Racist Behavior - I golfed at Schaumburg Golf Club yesterday and our group was 10 minutes late at the 10th hole with the guys behind us one entire hole behind. The marker made us skip a hole. When I complained after the round in the pro shop, the punk in the shop says "You guys come to MY country....". Never ever will play there again
