I've recently attended the ETA Theatre for jazz, which is held every month of the second Monday. The live entertainment was excellent and the setting made it very romantic. The Theatre served domestic wine and beer for only $2.00 with a light fare (food) for $8.00. Take someone special or just a friend (male or female) and you will enjoy the 3 hour event for only $15.00pp.

The ETA is very inspiring and thought provoking. It gives you a pride to know these productions area coming out of our communities with great substance. I dare anyone to not have a good experience at the ETA if you do you have truly missed the concept. Thank you on behave of the brothers of Phi Delta Psi Fraternity Inc. Every play that I have been to at ETA has been excellent. I recently saw the play - Salt in the Wounds - and I am prepared to become a season subscriber. However, I am disappointed that reviews from 2002 are still posted. This was one person's experience and should not be reflective of the overall impact of the theatre. We must continue to support the arts, especially as it relates to our culture and the community, therefore, those of you who have had positive experiences, let the world know.

I love this theater. I have never been to a bad play there. The atmosphere is great and the play selections always interest me. I hope nothing ever happens to this theatre because I love it.

I'd like to know why 10-year old reviews of this fine institution are still running. Even if the experiences of the patrons were correct then, a lot can happen in a decade. I think it's unfair to continue to run those reviews, positive or negative. I for one see eta as an important, cultural fixture in our community. I couldn't imagine Chicago without it. Keep on keeping on, eta.

11/6/05 I really like the plays that ETA has. I went to two plays last year and enjoyed them so much that I bought a subscription this year. It is a great deal. They also honor even college ID discounts. I have had nothing but positive experiences with ETA so I was disappointed to see the comments by other people below. Give them a second chance and give them the feedback. They do desire feedback so that they can do better.

My Question is. Why ticket prices not printed for seniors and students? The Ophelia and Louis ad does not show prices for these groups. Being from Indiana I would like to see in print ticket costs for seniors. Where I live you are considered a senior citizen at age 55.
Thanks
