I am a student studying master in music and is looking forthe english translation of boulez essay "schoenberg est mort" . Unfortunately it is out of print in my country and I have to wait for another 3 weeks for a copy but I need it urgently for my coursework. I would be greatful that you can give me a hint of where to get it.Thank you.

Whose interpretation of the 2nd piano sonata is considered standard? I first heard Polini's aggressive performance in 1982 and found it 'riveting', then I heard Claude Helffer's, more 'romantic' interpretation, also very convincing. I also have a very old Finnidar label of Idel Biret. This is my all-time favourite Boulez composition. I think it makes an excellent study of aggregate formations using combinatoric potential of trichords and tetrachords. I think it should be required for all post-graduate music analysis courses in 12-tone music.
