Went to the club two weeks ago on a SAturday night, It was a great club with great music, however the one bartender with blonde hair on the first floor was very rude, everyone one else was great,. Had a good time, will probably not go back however unless they do get rid of that bartender.

I just think it is defintely a rip off to pay $15 bucks just to get into Club X, we were there for 15 minutes and took off. this place doesn't suck entirely, but my suggestion is you can take that money and ahve a blast at a much better place.

Its by far the best place i had been too. It was for my 20th bday, yeah got in. How dont ask me but yeah i was in so trashed that they had to throw me out with my buddies. The bouncers, bartenders and other concerned people were polite. The Dj was good too, Even though i was trashed i had a great time when i was not thrown out. The ladies were hot!!!!, will be going there sometime soon but this time being club-legal..

    Peace out

Club X upstairs plays mostly house music that you can't fully appreciate if not high-spirited .. I mean, an uptempo music for dancing that has a comparatively narrow tempo range (between 118 and 135 bpm) can't be satisfying for a normal person .. not to mention the kick drum pounding on every quarter note of the 4/4 bar, with that "dropping" effect on the dancefloor. But they also play techno-n-trance, that share this basic beat eschewing house's live-music-influenced feel and black/Latin music influences in favor of more synthetic sound sources and approach.

This a place you go to ONCE, just to experience the volume of it. It survives (as do many Chicago "Institutions") by sheer location and foot traffic. If you're over 25, or from Chicago, I don't see why you'd want to go there.

I've been going to excalibur on first friday's for latino night and I always have a blast. it's free to get in and the music is going on in every level. I've been there on saturdays and the music really sucks.

Went to this place last night, and overall it was pretty weak IMO. Rather go to Zentra's.

Excalibur's is the hotest nightclub in chi-town. I had my 21st birthday there and it was off the hook. I am a regular there now and the guys that are there are hot as all hell. The drinks are awsome and the music is another story. You can never get board there.
