Their thin crust pizza is great, the deep dish is very disappointing. It has marina sauce spread on top, which does not have any pizza sauce taste. It is incomparable to other great chicago deep dish pizzas, and if you order deep dish at marcello's, you will really be wasting your money. If you want fantastic chicago deep dish, you are much better off with lou malnati's (the best), giordano's, or gino's east.

I have been eating father & son Pizza since the 70s. Best thin crust pizza in chicago their sausage has changed a little but same great taste.i now live in indiana i try to sto by every couple months.

we ate at the north location on milwakee ave. near Brwyn Mawr today sunday, Jun. 26th. 2005. the food was great as always. I must comment on the service! the service was less than appreicatable. we were never checked on: to see if everything was ok. there wern't enough place settings for the four of us. we had to ask for additional knife and fork, time 2. our water was not kept filled. the waitress acted like we were not there. She was sitting in a both, talking with the other staff, sitting on their duffs! The young ladie the hostess, was the only thing good about the service. the hostess, should have been the server. we would surley have left a better tip, than 12 and one half percent, which I though was a bit much, for the service the four of us received. I have dined at this location many times. but today really surprised us, for sure.

Like Paul K just said, GREAT STUFF!!! And we got it as kids 40 years ago, in the mid-60's, from the SAME LOCATION! God, I wish they had one in Dallas, Texas!!!

I have enjoyed eating at Father and Son for the last 25 years. They have the best hand tossed pizza. Their thin crust is very good as well. They offer a huge selection of ingredients, and they deliver late. They also have some of the best fried chicken.

We were in Chicago, and we stop in and eat the best pizza ever! And the host was a friendly young man named Rosario -- Great service! If we are ever back in Chicago again we will go to Father & Son. Thank You
