This is my absolute favorite place in the city to karaoke! The KJ is awesome about mixing it up style-wise and actually playing songs by everyone that puts them in. The drinks are cheaper than anywhere I know in the area and the crowd is...eclectic. Beware of Fun Hat Fridays!

Any time I'm in Chicago I spend at least one evening at Friar Tuck's for an enjoyable evening, good friendship, and a cold beer. Awsome fun place!

Friar Tuck's is the most welcoming bar in the world I sang on one of the karaoke nights in 2002 and it was the best night out ever. They were so welcoming even though I wasn't a regular (i'm from Ireland)

If you want to karaoke, you better tip the hell out of the DJ if you expect to sing. Also, you may as well come alone because if you come with anyone you won't be able to hear a damn thing they say and it can get so crowded that you'd have to get trampled together to come close to bonding.

It was cool a couple years ago, and now intensely sucks.
