Went here on a Monday. It was basically empty (both sides). The music was bogus. The drinks were good. The bathrooms had no tissue and were tight. I was hella bored. I would have to say I won't be going here again.

    -Never Again-

It was a horrible experience. I went there on a Saturday because there was suppose to be a party for Dj Jazzy Jeff cd release. the guy didn't show up, and i wonder if the $20 cover charge was becauswe of that. the club is so small, and it was packed as hell, couldn't even move. there is a sign by the bar saying the limit is 95 people, but there were more that 400 people in there! no places to seat. the music was terrible, the bartender by the entrance bar, this asian guy was soo rude. he actually has the guts...the air circulation was good, but overall it was terrible experience. they should either expand the building with may be a second floor or move to another location. otherwise, i will never, ever go there again!

I have been coming back forth to Buddha for years. Although a lot has change (that I miss), Saturday night still hosts one of the best DJ sets by resident 33 1/3. A lot of staff are new but some familiar faces are still around Amy (bartender), Leslie and Ms. Mycol (hosts), and Rasul and Kevin (security) that help keep the vibe I cherish most.

I have been a regular customer for quite awhile, but recently Buddha hired a new bouncer that obviously has issues. He hassles everyone he encounters, doesn't matter how old you look. They also tried to charge me for the cover, even though it was before 10. Rudeness seems to be the theme with all new employees there. This club has gone downhill in the last year, and I'm now going elsewhere.

I went to this club on a Thursday evening. It was boring and they tried to charge us a $10 cover even though we arrived before 10AM. After explanation of what we understood the cover to be, which was FREE, she let us in. Thanks!!! They had plenty of room to sit or stand. My beverage was tasty. The dj played some classic hip-hop (of which I enjoyed) but then the music grew current (of which I did not enjoy). The main problem I had was that it was BORING. This place felt a little pretentious and I prefer to be at a club where people genuinely like to have fun verses people who genuinely like to look cool. We left and had more fun on the way home than we did at this lounge.

If you love a great mix of music, a diverse crowd and a place where you are surrounded by dance junkies this is the place! First of all the staff is really nice, esp. the bouncers and bartenders. There is always something going on there, one time I randomly met some friends there and it turned into a David Banner concert for $10! It can get a bit crowded because it's a smaller club, but everyone is purely there to dance and have a great time so it doesn't even matter. Everyone in VIP was even cool, everyone was dancing and conversing, it's just a really great atmosphere! If you're not on a list have some cash ready, entry price varies. Sometimes it's free.

Cramped, small and hot (as in temperature). You will break a sweat just from standing next to the bar. It's super small - especially the dance floor. You won't be able to move on the dance floor because there are so many bodies there. There's no where to sit or stand because the place gets packed. Get there before the cover starts or you'll regret ever even trying the place out.

WELL I WENT TO THE FUNKY BUDDAH ON A SATURDAY NIGHT WITH A FEW FRIENDS. WHEN WE GOT THERE THE LINE WAS XTRA LONG AND IT WAS HELLA COLD OUT. THE BOUNCERS ARE PRETTY COOL WITH GETTING U IN ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE ON THE V.I.P. LIST. I MEAN WE STOOD FOR LIKE THREE MINS BEFORE THEY LET US IN. TO TELL U THE TRUTH THE V.I.P. LOUNGE IS SMALL AS HELL AND IT IS REALLY DARK AND PACKED. U THINK WHEN U HEAR V.I.P. U THINK HIGH CLASS PEOPLE WITH MONEY AND SPACE RIGHT? WELL I THINK NOT, THIS PLACE I MEAN IT WAS JUST REGULAR PEOPLE LIKE ME AND U IN THERE HAVING A FEW DRINKS. THEN OHH LET ME TELL U ABOUT THE MAIN CLUB AREA. IT IS HELLA PACKED, HOT AND DARK. I MEAN THE MUSIC TOO IS KIND OF BOGUS IF U LOOKING TO GO AND DANCE TO URBANIZED HIP HOP THIS IS A PLACE TO CROSS OF THE LIST. BUT IF U WANT TO GO AND STEP AND LISTEN TO SOME THROW BACK BEATS LIKE KRISS KROSS AND CHANGING FACES THIS IS WHERE ITS AT. OVERALL IF U WANNA JUST GO OUT AND CHILL (STANDING UP), CAUSE THERE IS NO WHERE TO SIT. THEN GO AHEAD WAIT 6 HOURS IN A LINE AND GET PISSED CAUSE WHEN U GET IN THERE UR GONNA KNOW STR8 UP WHAT IM TALKING BOUT....OH YEH THERE ARE UGLY BROKE GUYS IN THERE TO.... PLEASE IF U ARE UNDER THE AGE OF 25 UR NOT GONNA WANNA HE HERE THE SPOT IF FILLED WITH OLDER PEOPLE AND THE ATMOSPHERE AND MUSIC MATCH THE CROWD THAT IT DRAWS. PARTY PEOPLE BEWARE....
