My recent trip to Chicago's Grillroom Chophouse was a complete joy. Everyone thought their food was great, and the staff was efficient and friendly. While they are known for their steaks, we had seafood. It was fabulous!

I will never go to the Grill Room again. I work for a government agency and a small group of us went there on friday 12/16/05 around 2:45. The waiter was horrible, one lady ordered a coke with no ice but he brought a coke full of ice. So we went ahead and ordered appetizers, I ordered a salad minus tomatoes, and my coworkers ordered soup and calamari. Well the waiter returned shortly with the soup and calamari and no salad. I had to ask the waiter where was my salad, and he goes, oh yeah,He comes back with my salad chock full of tomatoes. I asked for my steak with no mushrooms, and you guessed it, he brought it out smothered with mushrooms. In my opinion this waiter, is just an absolute airhead.

This restaurant is one of the best restaurants in Chicago..There New York Strip is cooked to perfection!!! And their onion soup is the BEST I have ever tasted!!!
