This is so not true! Redmoon is doing a free outdoor event in late September in Chinatown's Ping Tom Park. And there's also talk of a kids matinee in the works...

My family and I have been big fans of Redmoon for many years. We've gone to the Halloween shows, and our favorite is usually the Winter Pageants. Last year's show in Wicker Park was a dissappointment- the story was hard to follow, the puppets were not very exciting, and the show dragged on. We had heard that the group had a new space, and so we were happy to pay it a visit. The space was huge! Almost too big for Redmoon. The story, again, was disappointing. We will probably keep visiting Redmoon, but they days of free Halloween shows, and the 'family' feel seem to sadly be over.
