On a warm summer night, there is no better place to be than on the patio at Hackney's on Harms in Glenview. It is surprisingly bug free and the service is really excellent considering they are serving more than twice the folks than they can fit inside their tiny indoor restaurant. It's like being at a backyard bar-b-cue. The wait staff pools their tips so any person with a Hackneys shirt on will gladly handle any request even if they aren't your waiter. The food is "one of a kind". You just can't duplicate this flavor anywhere else. The price is very wallet-friendly. Any time of year is perfect for Hackney's
