Heartland is OK but it needs diff. DJs going through there everynight its open or it seems it should always have a theme night.... being as a Promoter from Nashville...you got ta keep it bumping diff. everynight or people will stop showing up

As a former GM of Heartland I can say this much, there is a reason I quit its a huge waste of time and money for the same thing you can get at better local clubs. Be a little more creative when looking for a dance club in the south bend area. And yes they do practice censorship at the door, and it is common practice to remove people once they have paid there cover charge. Heartland in the begining was a great club full of good staff now since its the largest club in town they feel they can treat there guest anyway they want too. But thats ok folks help is on its way. A large club is in the works in the south bend and mishawka area coming soon.

Went to Heartland on a Saturday night. Went to go up on stage to dance with my friends, being that there was hardly any room to move, bumped into the wrong person and got jumped by her and her latino friends! How trashy is fighting? About as trashy as the girls that felt the need to fight....must be a midwest thing. Never going again!

Heartland is the most popular place to go on the week ends in northern Indiana. The Bar food there is off the hook. They just need more bar menu's on the table instead of just at each bar. The dj also dj's at excalibar in chi-town.

Heartland is a club that practices discriminatory policies and should not be patronized. International students who attend Notre Dame have been turned away at the door while having to listen to the bouncers make racist comments, and gay people have also been kicked out for dancing together. Don't waste your money on these racist, heterosexist jerks.

I have to say, get out of South Bend and drive to Chicago. This club is nothing but white trash and the DJ is bad. Chicago is only a hour away! This club, if it can be called that, has been a waste of space for a long time. People are crappy, women are whores, staff act like they are 'the bomb'! This is just a huge hole in the wall for a bunch of drunks and druggies. The music is the same crap every week, the DJ has no balls to play any new stuff. Just stay away!

If you are looking to dance and are in the area, this is the only place that might not be a complete waste of your time. Saturday is ladies night and that is the only night I would recommend going. You should be warned that as it gets later, the music gets more techno and less hip hop. Expect to see a lot of girls dressed in sluty attire and guys with no sense of style. Guys remember to bring some cash, cause the way some of the girls dance here, I'm sure they would be willing to take it off, if not the strip clubs are right down the road.

make sure you wear smart clothes no athletic attire or anything with a number me and my man were turned away till we changed outfits. those patrons are mean . but the place itself is jelly nice. peace
