Heaven on Seven is horribly over priced. I couldn't believe the prices that they wee charging for something that you could easily get at popeye's for a fraction of the price. Their basic strategey is this: fry it, put hot sauce on it, call it a day. The service was ok, but for what you are getting, it is hardly worth it.

My daughter, Andrea, treated us to a cooking class with Jimmy Bannos, himself, hosting the class. We had the BEST time. Food was wonderful, atmosphere was perfect and the other guests attending were alot of fun!!! We frequent the Heaven on Seven restaurant in Naperville where we live. It is a great restaurant with excellent food. We especially love the Sunday brunch. A must try!!!

I'm from Cincinnati, OH and my husband and I went to Chicago for the weekend of Christmas 2003. Our experience at Heaven on Seven (Rush St) was excellent! The servants were very attentive and the food was 5 star in my book. I've never been to New Orleans and don't know what authentic Cajun food is supposed to taste like but regardless of that, the food I had was damn good!!

We have never been to New Orleans so We really don't know what the food should taste like but you should try it and judge for yourself. It tastes pretty good and the price is right. Try it and see.
