I'm a fan of the Hidden Cove and have been since a friend and I first discovered it. Since then we host every birthday party and our day before Thanksgiving party at the Cove. Not a fancy place by any means, but the crowd is always different and interesting and there's always a chance for a really great and amusing time with people you've never met before.

I would like this place more if they didn't cater to the regulars. I used to come often and would enjoy the karaoke selection. However, it seems that no matter what place you sign up to sing, they skip your name and move on to the regulars and then MIGHT come back to your name and let you sing. On two occassions one of the bartenders (blonde with her hair in a ponytail) skipped my groups name and picked songs for her to sing herself and never came back to us. We were buying drinks and having a good time until 2 hours pass and you realize none of the songs you sign up for were going to get played. I won't be going back and don't encourage anyone else to go either. There are tons of other karaoke places that are better and a private room karaoke place just north of Hidden cove where you can get blitzed with your pals and sing to your hearts content (a good combination to be sure). Don't waste your time or money at Hidden Cove just to be ignored.

This is an excellent place. It can be filled moderate conversations or be loud with music and cheering. Popular food items included-also a sports bar. Bartenders are quick to serve.
Safe neighborhood, police station nearby,( 2blks ). Great fun, people of all ages get along well. over 5000 songs new and old-and Christmas and Hannukah songs too.
Thanks to everyone who makes this an incredible place.

Safest Karaoke place This has been my hang out for over htree years , which at one point I would go every other day! One block away from a police precinct and in a Korean neighborhood, it's a neat mix. The staff is very helpful and I security is great. Try the mushroom swiss burger, taste best around 2 am. During the week it splits up nicely. Lawyers and doctors with other business folks come in by ten Tues -Thurs, but leave by midnite. And Gen X-Y everynite the packs at One. And weekends are perpetual-big groups early 20's thru 50's crowd, who all get along well. Great music selection, from 50's to present- I'm grateful they don't shut off my rendition of Creep by Radiohead, (it can get a tad loud). Thank you guys for the best times these past few years.

The Hidden Cove is great because it welcomes all types of people and has a wide range of talent performing karaoke. Everyone is friendly and nonjudgemental. And the bartender (Angel) is a sweetheart. Tell her Bryce said hi if you stop in, you'll love her.

I love the Hidden Cove but I brought 4 of my friends from the Chicago Bandits up there to party after their inagural game and you guys didn't have the Grease Medley? Dineane freaked out and I think the pressure of her being a professional softball player got to her and she apologizes for breaking the machine.
I love the hidden cove.
