I am studying Finley Peter Dunne's Mr. Dooley articles as part of my undergraduate disertatation in history at University College Cork in Ireland. I am writing it in the context of the Irish diaspora and the effect these articles had on Irish-American's attempts to assimilate or otherwise after emmigration. If anybody has any information on the Dooley articles i would be extremley grateful for it.
