Bacchanalia has real nice Italian food. I love all their chicken entrees SCALLOPPINI, VESUVIO, CACCIATORE, MARSALA, PICCATA, AND SIGNATURE BACCHANALIA. The wait staff is efficient and friendly. The place cute, cozy, comfortable (except when busy-a bit tight) Great Whitefish, Mussels, Tilapia, and Bass. Busy on weekends so make reservations. A nice place to frequent, owners brother and sister make great hosts Luv it!

As much as people talk about Little Italy in Chicago being Taylor St., until you've been to Oakley, you really haven't had true Italian. Bacchanalia is a family-owned Italian restaurant with food you'd swear came out of your Italina grandmother's kitchen! The portions could feed and army and the prices more than reasonable, it's incredible this place isn't a line out the door on weekends (close to it though!)

How wonderful to discover an authentic Italian restaurant just around the corner! Beautiful Italian music, a quaint Romantic atmosphere, and homemade cooked-to-order mouthwatering appetizers, entrees, and desserts. Our party shared swordfish vessuvio, chilian seabass, veal and eggplant combo, and chicken marsala family style. I have never been so completely satisfied with a dining experience. I left feeling like part of the Pieri family! I will be sure to return to Bacchanalia again and again. Buon Appittito!

As a lifelong Chicago resident, I was so pleased to find this small, charming restaurant, tucked into a likewise charming block in Chicago's "Little Italy". Order anything on the menu; the food is always delicious! The staff is friendly and outgoing, which adds to the old neighborhood character of this little Chicago Gem. If you're looking for a quiet little restaurant with excellent Italian food and friendly, competent service, and want to escape the "madness" and bustle of the Big City for a quiet and charming respite reminiscent of an old, friendly Chicago neighborhood, this is a place you will certainly enjoy and remember!
