Love the place. Hunter is awesome. Be careful on St. Pattys Day as the place gets pretty nutty. Hunter will expel you if you get out of hand but is really pretty fair. Beware of Green Havoc in the bathrooms, if you can get past the locked door.

I'm working in Glasgow and Edinburgh this week and I'm loving all of the pubs. The only way to improve on the quality of these establishments, would be to make Hunter (Hye Bar owner) the owner. The quality of a bar is directly attributed to the owner. Can't wait to make it back to Chicago for St. Pats (St. Wayne's) Day at HyeBar!
Drummond is a Puus.

What a blast! A halloween party like no other. Everything from dj mixing and spinning to J.D. (John Denver) .. you never know what to expect from this place! The women bartenders are HOT! Had an absolute blast....in from Sunny Cal.. makes me hunger for the midwest farmers daughter.

Walked in and my jaw dropped. This well kept secret of Chicago is a watering hole for the city's elite to the city's meats. The bartenders always seem to having the best time, which reflects on the patron's. And the music, wow, Rocking out does not due this bar justice.

This place sucks. It's always too crowded. It belongs on Lincoln between Fullterton and Diversey.
