She has won several in the past and is looking forward to winning with an upcoming song on Aretha new project scheduled to be released this year "A Woman Falling Out of Love"... Pastor Shirley Caesar is an Awesome Gospel Singer, God used her to Minister to me. My First Time Hearing Pastor Shirley in Concert was October 29, 2004 in New orleans, Her Life has touch me Greatly, Her Minstry through song literally saved My Life.

Shirley,Shirley, Shirley what can I say the best. I am a male and I look up to you so much. This mothers day 2005 I got to see u for the first time it was amazing to hear how powerful your voice is in person. I am a gospel singer my self. My friends say that my style is like yours and that is an compliment in itself I pray that God keeps you in his will AMEN.

Shirley Caesar, I really did look up to you when I was younger, because I come from a holiness church. You know the kind. No pants, no make-up, no earings, neckalaces, no cussing, fussing, smoking, drinking, lying, adultry, ect...just holiness, and growing up, you were the closest person in show biz that I could relate to, then I saw how you used to be. When I recieved the Holy Ghost at 19 I was so happy, and still I am. We wear our robes, and hats to church, dresses and skirts with no splits. And we go into the house of the Lord dancing and shouting. My point is, when I saw you on this tape back in 1962 when you were singing "No Coward SOldier" with the Caravans, you reminded me of myself, how I am now. I'm 20 thank the Lord, and on the 8th of November, I'll be 21, and I'm living holy. Shirley Caesar I still look up to you, but, I just want to know, what made you change?

I love what Shirley Caesar has done for the gospel music field. I've always loved her, I get truly moved whenever I hear her sing. She has that uplifting spirit. Thank God for people like her, who always carries the message of God.
