The Irish Mill Inn is under new ownership since December, 2005. Dom and Linda have retired and are doing great in Cali. The new owners, Pat, Denise and Justin are fantastic. Every week there is more remodeling done (new umbrellas on the about-to-be-expanded deck, brand-new kitchen, new tables). Pat is amazing. Justin has added some new items to the menu but has kept the Irish faves as well as the famous fish fry--still delicious, same recipe. There are now drink specials every day of the week as well as a few new beers on tap. The live entertainment is still going...the summer has been great so far with new faces Fate of Five and Ken Wolf and old friends Johnny B and G-Man. The Website is updated and has all the info you need to know. The improvements have been warranted, but the place is still as comfortable and fun as it has been for years.

The Irish Mill is without question, the most comfortable, friendly pub I have ever encountered in Illinois. I play on a dart league out of the Mill and even though it is 20+ miles from my home, it always feels like home...only more fun. As a former professional chef, I would also like to give Linda and Dom high marks for their food! Try the Irish Stew, or Shepherds Pie (on Thursdays), or even the fish & chips on Fridays. Find a night that Whitey O'Day is playing, grab your darts and your appetite, and head over to the Irish Mill for a fantastic evening.

Nice pub. Very Kozy and Quaint. The Beer could have been colder and the patrons a we bit hotter. Guess we'll have to come back on a weekend to share a jingle and hopefully a jangle! Most important when we left our Irish eyes were a smilin'. Definately a place I(OC)could find me an Irish princess and fall in love. Until then I will continue to be miserable. Because we all know Irish Women rule the world. Now thats worth raising a glass to.

Dom and Linda run a great, laid-back & old-time friendly pub. You might even get Dom to get up and sing one with the band or do a shot with you if he's feeling fiesty! It's true, the Fish Fry has to be one of the best we've tried....and we've lived in Wisconsin and Michigan! Get there early since it's fresh and home-made, they may run out. Nice deck out back and REAL darts....

I agree with Tim (top of the list) the Irish Mill is a friendly place (alot like cheers) They serve the best Fish & Chips in Norhtern Illinois - They make their own beer batter with Harp Beer! it's great. The Live music is always great too.
